Recycling Locations

Roanoke County currently offers five recycling drop-off locations in addition to the Tinker Creek Transfer
Station. Roanoke County plans to expand these sites throughout the County to make recycling as
convenient as possible for all residents.

Cox Communications
The County of Roanoke in cooperation with Cox Communications now has a recycling location available at
the Cox Communications building on Fallowater Lane in southwest Roanoke County. This site currently
accepts newspaper, aluminum, plastic and CLEAR glass. Please do not place brown or green glass in the

Hollins University
The County location is on the campus of Hollins University. Upon entering the campus, follow the
recycling signs to the drop-off site. This site currently accepts newspaper, aluminum, plastic and CLEAR
glass. Please do not place brown or green glass in the trailer -- it will contaminate the whole load.

Cave Spring Middle School
