Hunting Hills Homeowners Association
HUNTING HILLS HOMEOWNERS ASSOCIATION
GENERAL MEMBERSHIP MEETING
November 15, 2005
President George Brammer called the meeting to order at 7.35 p.m. at Hunting Hills Country Club. He
welcomed everyone attending, especially those from among the 25 new families who have joined since
last year.

The Minutes of the November 16, 2004 Annual General Membership Meeting were distributed and
approved as written.

President's Report:-
80% of residents now belong to the Association and annual dues were still only $45.00.  He encouraged
residents to join the Hunting Hills Country Club as there was no initiation fee and monthly dues were
only $200.00 for full membership, with facilities for dining, golf, swimming and tennis, etc.  Only 20% of
residents were currently HHHC members, but the club enhances our property values and the beauty of
the neighborhood.

During the last two years we have introduced a Neighborhood Watch Program and signs for "No
Solicitation" were added to the existing Neighborhood Watch signs recently.

There is a HHHA web site with addresses in the Directory, thanks to Gary Powers. Residents can check
this site for Board Minutes, reports and phone numbers for local Government agencies, etc.

Plans for the stone entrance sign at the Starkey Road end of Hunting Hills Drive are all approved and
construction will begin shortly.  Gerald Allman will construct the stone work and Al Williamson of "Sign
Design" will provide the granite center with our name and logo.  VDOT is going to widen Rte 220S with a
truck lane, so existing wooden signs will remain at the other entrances.

Many people have served the Neighborhood Association well during the past year and George wanted
to thank them publicly. He especially mentioned Linda Harman & Pam Ammar for all their work on
membership and the Directory which is full of useful information.  Pan Ammar is retiring from the Board
after several years as Treasurer.

The officers for the 2006 Board were presented:
President - Gary Powers
President-Elect - Jean Summerbell
Secretary -  Michelle Whisnant
Treasurer - Marilyn Harriman

The new District Representatives for 2006-2009 were presented:
Midlands -  Joan Petrus
Mountain - Colleen Stone
Piedmont - Whitnet Snyder
Plateau - Anna Hudson
Scenic - Debbie Melnik
Valley - Michelle Whisnant

George welcomed all these people and thanked them for agreeing to serve.  A motion to approve the
slate was approved unanimously.

Gary Powers presented George with a plaque and some golf balls and thanked hime for leading the
Association during the past year.

Gary introduced the guest speaker, Officer Rick Crozier of the Roanoke County Crime Watch division.

Officer Crozier gave a short but most informative talk on Crime Prevention with special regard to safety
in our neighborhood and answered questions from residents.

The meeting was adjourned at 8.20 p.m.

Respectfully submitted,
Jean Summerbell, Secretary
